Ahura Mazda is the one Supreme God. There are also the 6 Immortals or Divine Sparks, the Amesha Spentas, who they try to emulate.

Those who do good deeds will go to heaven after they pass away. Those who do bad deeds will go to hell.

There is a struggle between the forces of good and evil, embodied by Ahura Mazda, the Wise Lord and God, and his son Angra Mainyu. Everyone has a choice to either help Ahura Mazda, or choose evil and side with Angra Mainyu. By living a highly moralistic life in accordance to the belief of "Good Thoughts, Good Words, and Good Deeds", we can assist Ahura Mazda.

If one fails to cessate ignorance and desire, then they will stay condemned to the cycle of rebirth. If one succeeds, they will break free of the cycle of rebirth and reach Nirvana.

Life is full of suffering, and the only way to escape this suffering is to reject all worldy desires. This can be achieved by following the Eight-Fold Path, "Right Views, Right Desires, Right Speech, Right Conduct, Right Mode of Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Awareness, Right Meditation."
